Care, Usage Agreement & Warranty Information
RACK CARE
Jambo Racks are built to require minimal maintenance, but there are a few things you can to do keep your rack looking and operating like new.
Keep rack free of road grime and salt by washing with water and gentle soap.
Grease your T handle bolt seasonally (more frequently if used in dusty or wet conditions) with multipurpose grease.
Store Titan Straps inside when rack is not in use.
Swing out comes with a grease able hinge- it is not necessary to grease hinge unless you feel drag.
WD-40 should occasionally be sprayed into hitch tube to prevent corrosion.
USAGE AGREEMENT
Jambo Design LLC is not responsible for injury, death, or damage to person, bikes or vehicle resulting from improper use of rack.
Before use, ensure the following:
Hitch pin is properly installed.
Hitch stabilizer is properly installed.
T-handle is installed and tight.
Regularly check t-handle tightness (more frequently when using off-road).
Inspect straps and bungees for damage and wear before use. If damaged, replace before use.
BOTH FRONT AND REAR tires are securely strapped.
Auxiliary stabilizer straps are required for off-road use.
Drive prudent speeds for terrain. Slow down for bumps and other rough terrain.
Be aware of rear wheel clearance during off-road use.
Check vehicle/rack/bike clearance before opening rack swing-out.
Ensure pivot area is clear of obstruction before opening or closing.
Be aware of rack pivot pinch point (keep hands and objects clear).
Do not exceed 45 pounds per slot. Heavier bikes should be loaded on center most slots closest to the rack mast.
Remove e-bike batteries prior to loading (and do not exceed 45 pounds per slot!)
Intended use is for class 3 or higher hitches.
Minimum hitch size is 2” (Do not use a 1.5” to 2” hitch converter).
This rack is not suited for rugged off-road use. Travel on rugged and unmaintained routes is at user’s own risk.
Ensure interchangeable hitch tube bolts are tight.

WARRANTY
Jambo Design LLC racks are covered by limited lifetime warranty from manufacturing or workmanship defects under normal usage. Warranty does not cover conditions beyond manufacturing control including but not limited to: collision, theft, vandalism, powder coat wear, oxidization, or any product misuse. Modification of the rack or any rack components is prohibited and voids warranty. Auxiliary stabilizing straps must be used off road. Warranty applies to original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims. Read and understand the user manual before first use.
